Intro:
 Heathers interest in graphic design as a career began in high school when she attended Virginia Beach Technical and Career Education Center where she learned the fundamentals of design from Judy Doyle, a local celebrity in the graphic design community. After graduating from Cox High School in 1998, she attended Virginia Commonwealth University and graduated in 2002 with a B.F.A. in Communication Arts. Her education focused on design fundamentals such as Typography, Color Theory and Design History. After graduation, Heather attended Eastern Virginia Medical School and studied Art Therapy and graduated in 2006 with a Masters of Science in Behavioral Health. After graduating, she began freelancing for SwimWays a local pool toy manufacturer where she helped design packaging and graphics. After getting her start at SwimWays she moved to Orlando, Florida where she worked for Turnstile Publishing Company - a publishing house that produces Golfweek magazine, Fish & Fly magazine; both national publications, as well as other trade publications and magazines local to the Orlando area. Beginning January of 2008 Heather began working for The Founders Inn and Spa where she does her very best to create fabulous designs every day.
