What this means
This is a tool for posting appropriate news and event articles on this page relevant to the local AIGA community. It may be used for non-commercial, professional purposes. Articles of interest might include local events that would be of interest to the AIGA community. It may be used to point out local resources, meetings, events and happenings of interest to AIGA members in Hampton Roads.

How it Works:
All active registered members of the Hampton Roads AIGA may post events in this News column and in the Event Calendar.

When you log in you will have an additional link labeled POST NEWS at the top of this column beneath the lead image. Click on it and you will have access to entering your own news article. If this has a date and time, it will also show up in the Calendar.

The entries fall into three categories: Local, National or Other News. Choose one of these.

Fill in the header line which will be a line at the top. Next fill in the body of the message. It will let you make a selected portion of text Bold and/or Italic and/or underscored using outlining and selecting buttons for these actions.

You may also enter links to web sites (or other links via internet) and email links. These will request the text to display and the action to take (uses HTML nomenclature).

Finally, you may include a small (79 x79) square .jpg graphic to accompany your entry. It should be professionally designed as an appropriate display for the web site and content of the article.

What About Jobs?
Under the calendar in the right hand column, is a place for job postings. Simply click on the "Post A Job" link and follow the directions. Keep in mind the term that you expect the job to be open and set the automatic closure date accordingly and it will take itself down on that date.
