The Spotlight section of this website is where where we'd like to highlight all that's fit to be highlighted – be that individual people, studios / agencies, industry or community events, local creative culture and its supporters, galleries, publications, noteworthy projects, and so on. The most exciting and dynamic part of the Spotlight will be that there's no specific formula for what can be written about or how each article should be written.
This is that opportunity you've been waiting for to help out the organization. We're looking for volunteer writers to help make this new feature a success. You need not be an AIGA member or a professional writer. Just pick a topic that sounds interesting, run it by us briefly, and then have at it. In general, spotlight articles will be about a page long, but you're welcome to write shorter or longer articles.
